Happy Independence Day everyone! Hope everyone is enjoying a welcoming break and spending it in your own special way.
Last week we took a much needed vacation and spend a few days at Nags Head in North Carolina. A 4-hour trip led us straight to paradise as we soaked up the sun and splashed around in jet skis. I had missed the open water and finding sand in funny places 🙂
During one of the days I ventured to the J Crew Factory Store in town and scooped up this little beauty of a dress for a steal, $35 to be exact. The soft colors and embroidery detail were a perfect combination for hot summer days. I wanted to wear it to work right away so I added a similarly hued cardi for an office-appropriate outfit. Highly recommend for anyone on the fence, especially because there’s pockets involved!

Great find! What a pretty summer outfit. I'm glad you got to enjoy some beach time. We spent some time at the beach this past weekend, but the Oregon coast is cold/windy/rocky – very different from the NC coast!
